Pineapples have been a long-standing symbol for hospitality, welcome, and friendship. This pineapple was painted at the beginning of January to help welcome in the new year. It was painted entirely with a palette knife and is very textural due to the ample amount of thick paint used in an impasto style.
This little piece can be hung on its own or set in a frame. Perfect for small spaces in between windows or doors, or combine as part of a larger collection.
